Emily Mars is an artist from Miami based in
Los Angeles.

Growing up, Emily was shy and found comfort in her doodles by creating vibrant characters and worlds. Her art often features women and non-binary people, with the intention of dispelling stigma and stereotypes surrounding mental health.

Struggling with symptoms of cPTSD and Bipolar 2 disorder since childhood, art became her therapy. By sharing her story, Emily hopes to begin conversations around the importance of mental health and the long-term effects of trauma.

You can see her work through frequent collaborations with Jocie B ASMR, and on Bigfoot Game’s Everyone’s A Critic. Her illustrations have also been commissioned for Salsa y Mojo’s food truck in Miami, podcast cover art, racial justice stickers, and more.

And while she waits on you to commission her work, you can find Emily daydreaming about being in a band, creating playlists for friends, drinking too much coffee, and re-watching Twin Peaks with her husband Pablo and dog Bean.
